OUR MISSION

At Grateful Vase, our mission is to spread joy & love in long-term care facilities by delivering beautiful, repurposed flower arrangements to residents in 417 Missouri and NW Arkansas.

We have big ambitions for the future of Grateful Vase that go beyond flower arrangements. We want to serve our local long-term care facilities as a whole, and with that means serving facility staff members as well. We are in the process of preparing to begin delivering staff appreciation gift bags along side our floral deliveries. We want to show our appreciation and recognize the value of the special, heartwarming group of employees providing continuous effort & senior care to our community loved ones.

In addition, Grateful Vase would like to be able to partner with local artists to be able to provide pressed floral and floral drying activity classes at our community long-term care facilities as well.

MEET THE FOUNDER

Hi! I'm glad you are here, thank you for taking the time to learn about a project so dear to me. My name is Lindsey Curry & I am the founder of Grateful Vase, a 501(c)(3) charity organization that delivers repurposed flowers to long term care facilities.

I started this non-profit with the hope to create a rewarding atmosphere that young generations can get involved & grow with in their communities. As a faithful Christian, I strongly believe giving to something bigger than ourselves is when we truly start living the life we were meant to live. Being kind to those outside our inner circles seems to be a losing art & that's something I simply can't accept.

I was inspired to start Grateful Vase after spending quite some time in long term care facilities visiting my own grandparents. My grandparents, though no longer with us, inspire me and my actions still to this day. To all of the grandmothers & grandfathers in this world, we appreciate what you do, what you did, and the strong values you instilled in us. I will proudly carry on the kindness and love that mine showed me.

This organization is designed to be bright, fun, & influence lots and lots of smiles for not only the recipients, but also the givers.

We're going to do big things at Grateful Vase.
